Our team of strategists, solutionists, technologists, and data analysts work united alongside incredible brand partners, helping them connect with customers in more meaningful ways today and positioning them to move with the customers of tomorrow. It’s always an amazing and transformative time at our growing media agency.
At KSM, it’s about more than just a passion for our industry and craft. It’s about the impact we make on the lives and livelihoods of those around us, and the highly personal experience we have here. Being an independent, mid-size agency—not too big, not too small, and proudly entrepreneurial—you’ll be empowered, recognized, and challenged to grow here. We’re adding new Bold Builders and uncommon perspectives to our community and can’t wait to learn more about you. But first, let’s explore the opportunity...
We’re looking for an Integrated Media Planner to collaborate on cross-channel, tactical media planning for key client(s), with a particular focus on CPG. As a trusted liaison across teams and disciplines, you will help bring media strategy to life through thoughtful planning, data-centric analysis, and seamless execution. You will build expertise across offline and digital media while developing a strong understanding of how campaigns are activated, optimized, and measured within key digital platforms. As our team continues to evolve toward a more integrated planning and investment model, digital media experience will be a valuable asset.
The ways you will make an impact:
Create cross-channel, tactical media plans rooted in client business objectives, audience insights, and data-centric analysis, including channel allocation, budget development, and tactical recommendations
Partner closely with Investment Solutions, Analytics & Insights, and other agency disciplines to ensure continuity between strategy, planning, activation, and measurement
Analyze campaign performance, marketplace trends, and retailer data to identify insights and inform optimization and future planning recommendations
Build familiarity with campaign activation and optimization across key digital platforms, with opportunities to support select in-platform responsibilities as team needs evolve
Maintain accurate team and client documentation, including flowcharts, budget sheets, status reports, and campaign materials, while ensuring timelines and budget commitments stay on track
Present tactical recommendations, performance learnings, and POVs to clients, while communicating proactively with internal and external stakeholders throughout the planning process
Participate in competitive and marketplace analysis and contribute to agency POVs on relevant industry, consumer, media, and retail developments
Support Associate team members and contribute to department initiatives through training, process improvements, best practices, and knowledge sharing
Experience you should bring:
1–2 years of cross-channel media planning experience, ideally within an agency environment
Experience translating client business objectives into actionable cross-channel media recommendations through data-centric analysis, including channel allocation and tactical planning
CPG category experience strongly preferred, with experience working with retailer first-party data, retail media ecosystems, or retailer audiences highly valued
Experience analyzing campaign performance and translating results into clear recaps, insights, and recommendations
Experience managing flowcharts, budgets, campaign documentation, and multiple channel workstreams with strong attention to detail
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with digital campaign activation, optimization, and reporting; hands-on experience with platforms such as The Trade Desk, Meta, TikTok, or similar platforms is a plus
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously; local planning expertise is a plus
Who you are:
Performance-minded and motivated by delivering against client business and media objectives
Deeply curious, eager to understand the “why” behind the work, and always looking to learn and contribute
A strong communicator who is clear, concise, credible, and confident sharing ideas
Analytical and data-driven, with a strong comfort level working with numbers, budgets, and spreadsheets
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable, with the ability to manage ambiguity, reprioritize, and keep moving parts on track
Confident yet humble, collaborative, reliable, and committed to fostering a high-performing, client-first team environment
